Carmen Ortiz de Urbina is a self-taught artist born in Bilbao. She's got a big talent to feel and express faces of human soul. Her hand-drawing technique, using only black and white, makes her style unique and recognizable.

 

Her pencil portraits have appeared on several magazines and webs and she has taken part in many exhibitions since 1995. Represented by June Illustration. At the end of 2019 she created Pica Ediciones with her sister Pi Ortiz.

Carmen Ortiz de Urbina es una artista nacida en Bilbao. Ella tiene gran talento para sentir y expresar los rostros del alma humana. Su técnica de dibujo manual, usando solo blanco y negro, hacen su estilo único y reconocible.

 

Sus retratos a lápiz han aparecido en multitud de magazines y webs. Desde 1995 ha estado exponiendo regularmente. Esta representada por June Illustration.

A finales del 2019 crea Pica Ediciones junto a su hermana Pi Ortiz.
